One of the first things you will notice if you are new to online bingo is that some bingo sites have what they call deposit or no-deposit bonuses. This simply means that when you first register at that site you may be given a specified amount of money to play with ‘on the house.’ A no-deposit bonus means that this particular site will give you that amount of money to play on and you will not actually need to make a deposit to buy cards until you have played through your bonus. Other sites will match you 1 for 1 or 2 for 1 on your first deposit. Bear in mind that each site has its own rules regarding sign-on deposit bonuses and that you will need to clearly understand what you can and can’t do with your sign on bonus.

Some sites make you play through your bonus amount a certain number of times before you can actually withdraw your winnings while other sites have no such restrictions. In other words, if you are required to play through 2 times and you deposit $50 with a 1 for 1 bonus, you may be required to play through your original $50 twice and your bonus once or you may be required to play through your $50 twice and your bonus twice before you can actually withdraw any winnings you have accumulated. Again, each site has different rules regarding sign on bonuses so take the time to carefully read their policies prior to making your first deposit.
